Motamed Field is the home for Adelphi's NCAA Division II women's soccer, men's soccer, women's lacrosse, men's lacrosse and field hockey programs. It also hosts Adelphi's club sport programs, intramural athletics, physical education classes and University special events such as orientation.

The Adelphi field hockey program will kick off the Saturday festivities on Motamed Field with an 11:00 a.m.matchup against NE10 foe St. Michael's College. Last season the Panthers took a 2-1 victory from the Purple Knights at Christopher M. Duffy Artificial Turf Field .

Located in the Lower Level of Earle Hall, PAWS offers students the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a real radio station. PAWS is an online based radio, consisting of a variety of shows, including sports, politics, music, entertainment, and live studio recordings. PAWS also broadcasts LIVE Adelphi sporting events from Motamed Field.
