  Beautiful view of Hudson River along the trail. They have nice picnic tables around at certain beautiful locations.

  Wonderful path along the Hudson river. Breathtaking view of the Palisades. Connections to paths and roads that take you up to the plateau and Rockland Lake. Historic ruins along the way.

  I grew up coming to this park. I still go occasionally. Perfect for a picnic and walk if you don't want to go to any of the crowded parks. Very nice view.

  Lovely place to go for a walk or bike ride or even walk your dog (it's pet friendly). It's very tranquil and relaxing.

  Parking lot is small and tables are located to close one to other forcing you to interact with next table occupants. If you can (!!?) Hope you like children! Enter water at your own risk as no life guard are available. Long trail allows you walk for almost one hour. Love fishing? Then you are welcome, but I would not eat fish coming out Hudson River.

One of the first scenic nature local places I think of when someone asks me to recommend a place to go is Nyack Beach State Park. Although the actual beach is miniscule and no swimming or wading is allowed, there is a magnificent walking path near the Hudson River with views of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
