I've been a patient of Dr. Hindin since 08-09 and over the years has been the absolute best of all my physicians. He is genuinely caring and concerned with wonderful bedside manners and a non judgmental attitude. He has gotten me through extreme anxiety and depression both short and long term over the years. I started seeing him when he was Medical Director of Creative Intervention in Clifton and followed him to his own private practice in Livingston. Most recently and currently he has been working his majic helping me get off over 3 years of oxycodone dependence when my PM Dr abruptly discontinued my regimen. While my primary physician discounted me as an addict rather than treating me appropriately, Dr. Hindin assisted me with open arms because he fully understands the difference between dependence and addiction. While I'm still early in my treatment, between my own strong will and his professional experience I am fully confident we will work through this together towards my goals. I thank him so much for being there and trusting me and can confidently recommend him both as a general psychiatrist and drug dependence/addiction expert. And most of all and very importantly I have to say he is just a genuinely good person.
