  In my experience, local stores usually charge a little extra than the chain stores. Was recommended to go to Jacobsons by a PSE&G technician for a new washing machine. Wonderful service in the store, staff was knowledgeable, went above and beyond to ensure we received a good price and good service. Definitely recommend Jacobson.

  Really old school store. Dis organized but have a great selection of appliances & other items. Really good prices and the sales people know their stuff.

  I've been dealing with Tarek for 20 years now. He's the BEST in the business. Any issues and Tarek takes care of you. I just can't express my gratitude for him. I call and he addresses me by name. He has all of my info in the computer and can see exactly what I've purchased and when. Anytime I call for advice he tells me to shop around and find the best price, then he beats it! He know's I'll be back and that's why I love dealing with him. 3.5% sales tax + the best prices anywhere + Customer service is bar none... 5 stars and if I could rate them with more I would.
  
  One more thing. It seems to me that Tarek does all of the research on everything he's sold me. That includes customer complaints about certain items. He will tell me to stay clear of certain items in favor of others and when you google search for those items, he's right on the button with his warnings or advice. He does all of the research for you.

  Mom and pop appliance store. Matches other store's pricing. Do your research beforehand and have your specifications on hand. Salesmen are knowledgeable.
