  Love it. We go there on a July 4. Always lots of room for everybody, lots of shade to hide from the sun, gorgeous playground for kids, reasonable price for parking, nice bathrooms. Perfect place for barbequing and picknics!

  Nice BUT bathrooms closed early in the afternoon, leaving kids and adults doing the pee-pee dance.

  I grew up in this park. For it's small size and weird shape you can still feel at peace, especially in the Fall. Great walking trails - both paved (repairs needed soon) and unpaved (always in good shape). Several streams, bbq areas, a playground for younger and older kids, areas for sports. The park is very busy during the summer months with bbqs, parties, and people coming together. Occasionally you will find people bird watching and some bike riders on the trails.

  Well maintained and overall beautiful park in the heart of Valley Stream. Great for walking, jogging, separate path for biking. Playgrounds and picnic tables with BBQ grill are also available.
