Dr. Tubman is simply the best! She builds a relationship with patients that makes you truly feel comfortable when talking to her. She has excellent bedside manner, and no matter how busy she is with appointments she never rushes you out of your visit. (My sister moved to TN and kept Dr. Tubman as her OB-GYN because that's how good she is!)
I have been with Dr. Tubman since she first began in private practice. Several years ago, she performed a delicate reconstructive surgery to repair a hernia and my perineum. I went to two "specialists" for second opinions and possible option to have them do the surgery. She by far was more knowledgeable, skilled, better bedside manner and patient then the so called specialists I saw. Both specialists left a bad taste with me. Dr. Tubman was patient with me while I reviewed my options. After finally asking her to please do the surgery she was very gracious. My quality of life is so much better now that the repairs are done. Additionally, I find Dr. Tubman receptive to dialogue regarding my gynecological health.
Dr. Tubman is the greatest, she delivered my two babies via csection and is the only person I trust with any medical needs. She is a strong woman who is amazing at what she does.
Perfect example: My moms friend had a life threatening condition, I told her to go to my doctor. Literally 3 days later she was in surgery and her life was saved.
She is a no nonsense woman, who ALWAYS gets the job done. She knows what's best, but at the same time will not make you do anything that will be uncomfortable.

I’ve been going to Dr Tubman for about eight years now and can’t say enough about her. She’s truly a great doctor and a pleasant and caring person. She just helped me with my first pregnancy and the delivery of my baby girl. Absolutely amazing experience! She was there for me all the way and provided the best care. Not a single issue. Her staff is very friendly and professional, helped with all my prescriptions, appointments and any paperwork, always answered and returned my calls. Beautiful office. I definitely recommend her!
First Dr Tubman saved my life. I was seeing another Dr whom told me I was making a big issue out of my condition.
I feel as a patient you must communicate with your doctor your needs first. Prior to going in I typed up my list of questions and concerns.
I knew I was in horrible shape too.it was my first time meeting her too. Immediately she told me you're going to the ER. Even though I was scared I could see there was a sense of urgency and I felt safe.
Later that evening she appeared at the ER. I was absorbing everything that was going on and she was patient despite me being very quiet.
She referred a great surgeon.
Dr Tubman saved my life I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 1 she acted immediately first. Time meeting me.
Great bedside manner too. She came to visit often.
My prognosis is good thanks to Dr Tubman.
