  Went to a birthday party, and could believe it... endless wonderful food, delicious Lamb Shank/Steak.
  Live performances of folk dance and singing... a big surprise, and rare experience in NYC! Everyone loved it.

  Great service. The smoked fish was amazing. Lots of other funding foods. We did appetizers as to Russian tapas. Peeked in at the show, looked like fun.

  Good service with a beautiful beach waterfront view. Huge portions. Food is good with traditional Russian and Ukrainian fare. Food quality not always consistent but fairly good. I would come especially after a long day hanging out at the beach.

  It was a gorgeous mid afternoon Sunday meal for me today. The restaurant had a lively vibe. It was busy, and I wanted an outside seat. A hostess surprised me by quickly ushering me a small table, facing the ocean. I was stoked. My meal was preceded by some unassuming, but tasty, black bread that had a nice authentic taste. The kvass was cool and refreshing, and moderately priced at $4.
  
  My chicken schnitzel was great, as it was crisp, but not overcooked. My only criticism is the mushroom sauce was extremely sparing for such a nice big serving. Service was relaxed, but very competent. I enjoyed my meal at a relaxed pace, and felt no pressure to rush. The other tables were relaxing and enjoying the view. The place has a very distinct European (Russian) flavor, and I felt transported. Worth it.
